From Definitive Touch comes David Short’s series entitled “The Riddle of the Romanovs”. The UK-based photographer’s series is based on the 1918 execution that killed Russia’s last czar–Nicholas II–and his family. “The Romanov family were finally dug up and identified in 1991 using DNA, but two bodies were undiscovered. Although the remaining bodies were found in 2007, the longstanding mystery has been a consistent thread in Russian history.”
