Official: Motorola Droid, Coming to Verizon November 6th

Motorola Droid on Verizon

Hello, Moto. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a positive headline from Motorola but launching the first phone with Android 2.0 will do that. Coming to Verizon on November 6th, the Motorola Droid will be packed with a 3.7″ WVGA capacitive display, sliding QWERTY keypad, 5 mepapixel camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash, and 720×480 video capture at 24 fps, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Exchange support, 6.4 hours of talk time and a pre-installed 16GB memory card. Oh, it’s also got Google Maps Navigation (Beta) which provides free (yes, FREE) turn-by-turn navigation.

For $199 on a two-year contract, you get all the goodies listed above running on Android 2.0, an OS that’s got more new features than we can list. Check the close-ups after the jump. (via BGR
