Last week, HODINKEE and Audemars Piguet hosted an event at the Swiss watchmaker’s New York City boutique on 57th. On display were some of the brand’s finest timepieces, including those unveiled at this year’s SIHH in Geneva just two months ago. The Millenary Minute Repeater in Titanium, which we covered here, was on hand as were several of the brand’s grand complication pieces. It’s not a HODINKEE party without vintage pieces, folks and there were some gems pulls right from the AP museum in Le Brassus, Switzerland.
This event was epic to say the least as it gave regular folks like you and I to see watches we’d normally have to travel over the Atlantic to scope. Audemars Piguet really made this event worthwhile by having AP Grand Complication specialist Didier Genton there to discuss the brand as well as its solid lineup of watches.
