Brooks Brothers Military Heritage Archives
Brooks Brothers has had a relationship with the Armed Forces dating to 1818, when they opened their doors to the veterans of the War of 1812. It’s amazing how some of the same styles that were available two centuries ago are still prevalent today. To this day, officers in the United States Navy are still able to get uniforms made by Brooks Brothers and we’re sure they’re a sight to see. Brooks Brothers recently gave us a look at some imagery from their archives which includes photographs of uniform pieces from the 1940s, advertisements and even some sketches by the artist and Brooks Brothers associate Paul Brown.
