Coming Soon | Thom Browne Tokyo Flagship Store WWD is reporting Thom Browne is gearing up to open his first store outside of the U.S. in mid-March of next year. Tokyo’s Minami-Aoyama district will be home to a 4,500-square-foot Japanese flagship store that will be in close proximity to the likes of Prada, Comme des Garcons, Undercover, and others. Not only with the split-level store have the brand’s men’s and women’s collections, but there will also be a special area for made-to-measure. Interior design firm Wonderwall is leading the charge here and we’re expecting great success as their past projects have included many high-end shops including Colette in Paris. “We’re really excited about the store both as a way to boost an already strong business in Asia and as an image statement,” Browne said on Wednesday from Milan, where he was working on the Moncler Gamme Bleu collection to be shown in January.
