A collaboration we feel long overdue, LA denim brand Rogue Territory teamed up with Amsterdam outpost Tenue de Nîmes for a pair of jeans that pay homage to denim legend Wrangler. The jeans are based on the ‘Stanton’ slim-straight fit and are made from a 14oz ‘broken-twill’ from Cone Mills with a ‘double out seam': two of the most important characteristics of the old Wrangler cowboy jeans. Broken Twill’s a denim weave that’s seldom used these days but the fabric breaks in very nicely and it’s a shame we don’t see more of it. It was originally developed by Wrangler as a solution for the natural habit of a yarn to twist and the thereafter ‘twisting legs’ of jeans.
