We recently gave you a look at the new Porsche Cayman GTS and with that comes the unveiling of the 2015 Porsche Boxster GTS as well. Like the Cayman GTS, this is also the first time the Boxster is offered up with the GTS badge and that’s not to be taken lightly. The difference between the GTS and other Boxster trims is apparent in the aesthetics as it sports unique front and rear fascias, blacked out Bi-XenonTM headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), 20-inch Carrera S wheels and a sport exhaust system with black tailpipes as standard. Power comes from a 3.4-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine that delivers an additional 15 hp compared to its “S” model counterpart, giving the Cayman GTS 330 hp. Torque has also been increased by 7 lb.-ft. to 273 lb.-ft. while the Sport Chrono package is now a standard feature with either the 6-speed manual or the optional 7-speed PDK transmission. With the optional PDK transmission and Sport Plus button activated, 0 to 60 time comes in at 4.4 seconds and a top track speed of 174 mph for a Cayman GTS equipped with a manual transmission.

Other features unique to the GTS model is Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) now being standard, which offers the choice of sportier or more comfortable ride settings at the press of a button. Inside the Boxster GTS, you’ll see an Alcantara wrapped steering wheel, headliner, center console, and inserts on the standard Sport Seats Plus. Additional visual elements include GTS nomenclature embroidered into the headrests and printed on the tachometer face.

The 2015 Porsche Boxster GTS is priced from $73,500, excluding destination charges of $995, and will be available for delivery this summer.
