The Paul & Joe Spring 2015 Menswear Collection embraces international luxury in locations like Cuba, Hawaii, and South Africa. The collection centers on eclectic prints including the large intarsia pineapple, micro-printed cherries, illustrated monkeys, and wild florals. Designer Sophie Albou-Mechaly stages the collection in Le Comptoir Général, an underground Parisian venue famous for its compilation of African trinkets. The carefree attitude is reminiscent in the flattering seersucker jackets paired with slim Bermuda shorts and rolled-cuff colored jeans matched by a cartoon-covered blouson. The doodle prints read, “I need my croissant every day,” and “Parisian cat” in English. In addition, a key piece of this line-up is the denim-style varsity jacket paving the road for the future foreign market.
