From actor Tom Hanks and iOS dev company Hitcents comes Hanx Writer, a new iPad app that looks to deliver the manual typewriter experience to iOS. It blends old school, nostalgic appeal with new-fashioned features like the DELETE key. The Hanx Writer comes with wireless keyboard support and allows each document to be emailed, printed, and shared. Invitations, letters and notes can be personalized with the complimentary Hanx Prime Select typewriter but you can opt for in-app purchases to expand your collection to the Hanx 707 and Hanx Golden Touch, both of which allow for enhanced features like the ability to change your font color, add pictures to your title pages and create multiple documents. The Hanx Writer is available exclusively for the iPad and can be downloaded on iTunes.
