Though we’ve seen Speed models of other vehicles in the Bentley stable, the British coachmaker’s flagship sedan has never been so fortunate. Until now. The 2015 Bentley Mulsanne Speed brings in more power while adjusting some design elements as well. Outside, you’ll notice dark-tinted grilles and lights as well as directional 21-inch wheels while you’ll notice a two-tone interior that takes roughly 150 hours of labor and 14 bull hides to finish to perfection. Under the hood, the Mulsanne Speed delivers 530 horsepower which is 25 more than the standard Mulsanne. Bentley’s 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8 takes things a step further by delivering an earth rattling 811 pound-feet of torque. All this power is mated to a recalibrated version of the vehicle’s eight-speed automatic transmission, which now includes an S mode to keep the revs above 2,000 and the turbos ready to rock. 0 to 60 time comes in at 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 190 mph. Look for the 2015 Bentley Mulsanne to make its world debut at next month’s Paris Motor Show.
