Amazon turning things up a notch with the opening of their first-ever brick-and-mortar store in the heart of New York City. The location’s set to be in midtown Manhattan on 34th Street, right by the Empire State Building and will serve as an extension of what Amazon’s been doing. At the store, you’ll be able to return items and even grab things that are usually available for same-day delivery in New York already. In-store pickup for online orders will also be available and you can expect Kindle and Fire products throughout the outpost. The Amazon NYC store should be open in time for he holidays and could potentially be a sign of things to come from the online giant.
