Yesterday, Jon Stewart and Comedy Central both officially announced that Jon will be stepping down as host of The Daily Show after nearly 17 years at the helm. Though Jon hasn’t outlined future plans or exactly when this will take place, he did mention that it will happen later this year around the time his contract lets out. Jon’s shoes are big to fill and though no successor has been named just yet, he or she better be damn good.
