Canon XC10 Camcorder Captures 4K Video and 12-MP Stills

Canon has announced its new 4K camera the Canon XC10 Camcorder. If you’ve been hoping for a lightweight, accurate, fast and professional camcorder, the Canon XC10 may be just what you’re looking for.

The camera is designed for taking 12 megapixel photos and 4K video recording. The gadget also comes with the option of extracting still 8 megapixel images from your 4K video footage and it can shoot 3.8 frames per second. The 10x f/2.8-5.6 zoom lens has a 2x digital teleconverter and a 35mm-equivalent range of 24.1-241mm for stills and 27.3-273mm for videos. The camcorder also has a viewfinder attachment which allows you to see clearly in direct sunlight as well as shoot at eye-level. It is run by a DIGIC DV5 processor and features 5-axis image stabilization during Full HD recording.
