VIZIO switched things up this year by opting out of CES to unveil all of their year’s new product at the VIZIO Spring Showcase in NYC. It took place earlier this week and we were on hand to check out all the 2015 releases, which included a range of audio and TV drops. Alongside updated sound bars, an E-Series refresh, and VIZIO’s 120-inch Reference Series, the brand also went ahead and upgraded the entire M-Series line to 4K. Yeah, we know. If you’re familiar with the P-Series 4K Smart TV’s VIZIO has been putting out, you know they’ve been rated as some of the best on the market. With 4K content still pretty slim, there’s a heavy reliance on upscaling and VIZIO does a killer job here. The Spatial Scaling Engine is the real gem here and when coupled with Full-Array LED backlighting with up to 32 Active LED Zones, the M-Series delivers some pretty pictures. Beyond the upscaling, the new lineup of M-Series Smart TV’s feature support for native Ultra HD content and Ultra HD streaming. VIZIO’s Smart TV platform and Internet Apps Plus are now powered by ultra-fast 802.11ac dual-band WiFi and VIZIO’s V6 six-core processor, giving users a real seamless experience.
