If you love tea, then you you’ll agree that loose leaf tea is much better than tea bags. However, loose leaves aren’t always convenient, especially if you’re trying to get through a busy day, and as a result we tend to save the leaves for leisure time and settle for tea bags on other occasions.
Imbue, a new tea infuser, aims to make it faster and more convenient to enjoy loose leaf tea. You can easily make great tasting, high quality tea and take it with you wherever you go and even use the container as a hot water bottle after the tea is gone. The portable infuser consists of a shatter resistant borosilicate glass container, a bamboo wood lid, and a stainless steel filter which magnetically connects to the lid. It also comes with a fabric sleeve to further protect the infuser and increase grip.
The Imbue Tea Magnetic Brewing Vessel was developed by the Industrial Design program at Western Washington University. It is currently being fundraised on Kickstarter, where you can back the project and order your own brewing vessel.
