Thom Browne showcased his spring/summer 2016 collection in Paris. The line features a prominent Japanese influence and was presented to the music of Yo-Yo Ma playing Ennio Morricone film scores. The models appear wearing Klaus Nomi makeup, round sunglasses, and traditional wooden geta sandals. Thom Browne’s collection incorporates the use of ornate fabrics adorned with Japanese-style, pinstripe, herringbone, and houndstooth patterns. The seersucker clothing was presented by models dressed as geishas. The range features formal wear items like button-up shirts, waistcoats, trousers, blazers, coats and ties. The striking patterns come out in a color palette made up of grey, white and silver.
