Here’s one of the more recent creations from the mind of modern lighting and furniture designer Brendan Ravenhill. Bare Light, a modern take on the classic incandescent light bulb we all know and love, is stylish enough to be a centerpiece by itself. The Bare Light’s glass socket simultaneously encloses and reveals the light’s electronic components. The glass socket extends all the way to the top, refracting the bulb’s light upward to illuminate the cord. Expertly crafted by glass blowers in Los Angeles, the Bare Light is meant to be suspended either by itself over a point of interest, or in a series in a larger room.
