Warner Brothers’ Creed movie trailer is finally out, and it looks like a beauty. The movie is a spinoff of the iconic Rocky film series, this time focusing on Adonis Creed, the son of former undisputed heavyweight champion and Rocky’s first big opponent in the film series, Apollo Creed. If you recall, Apollo Creed was Rocky’s friend and rival throughout the first four films, ultimately dying in the middle of the ring in the fourth film after facing the Russian monster Ivan Drago, played by Dolph Lundgren. The new Creed movie chronicles the rise of his son Adonis past a rough childhood, out of a tough neighborhood, and into the world of professional boxing – with none other than Rocky Balboa in his corner. Sylvester Stallone reprises his role as a retired Rocky Balboa in the movie, which is scheduled to screen this Fall. If you loved Rocky, you’ll love this one. Check out the Creed movie trailer below.
