Wallpaper* Magazine appears to be branching out in a few areas showcasing how their design skills and selected brands can be used in different settings. After launching the WallpaperSTORE*, the magazine has featured a motel concept called the Wallpaper* Motel in the July issue of the publication. Highway pit stops have gained a reputation for being dodgy, but Wallpaper* shows how applying the right elements can create an ideal atmosphere for visitors who need either a quick place to crash for the night or somewhere to stay for an extended vacation. The conceptual space is filled with burnt reds, shades of jade, wooden tones, and deep gold; mimicking chic 1950s motels.
