One of the highlights of Comic Con 2015 was the debut of the first Suicide Squad trailer, DC Comic’s gang of super-villains banding together on the side of good. Just today, the trailer has been made available to the general public, and it’s a deliciously spooky look into the dark side of justice. Suicide Squad is the third installment in DC’s shared universe films. It will hit theaters on August 2016, a few months after the second installment, Superman v. Batman, has had its way. Suicide Squad stars, among others, Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, and a menacing, enthralling Jared Leto as the newest Joker.
It’s a solid response by DC to the Marvel film onslaught, but time will tell just how good it’s going to be. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer below:
