If you liked Moneyball, you might like what Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment has lined up for you this winter: The Big Short, an adaptation of Moneyball author Michael Lewis’s book of the same name. Starring Pitt, Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling and Steve Carrell, The Big Short takes us into the U.S. financial crisis of 2007-2010, where the group bets against the U.S. economy and profiting from the bursting of the credit and housing bubble.
Directed by Adam McKay, who also co-wrote Anchorman, Step Brothers, and Talladega Nights, The Big Short will see a limited release on Dec 11, before its main release on Dec 23. Watch the official The Big Short trailer below.
