adidas Originals by White Mountaineering showcased their F/W 2016 collection the “Designer Project” at this week’s Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence. Watch the video below and you’ll see an impressive light show that was perfectly orchestrated, with 25 models wearing a collection that blends adidas Originals heritage with the utilitarian approach of Japan’s White Mountaineering. You’ll see elevated sportswear pieces like varsity jackets and zip-up sweats, many of which are infused with White Mountaineering’s signature standout panel construction. The iconic three-stripes mark has been transformed into a v-shaped chest motif that can be seen on several pieces, each in a very understated sort of way. The footwear looks really strong as well, with the Forum Hi, Rod Laver and EQT Running silhouettes slated to come in new forms. Look closely and you’ll even see adidas Originals’ new NDM silhouette ready to break ground in a new colorway.

Check out the video of the presentation below and expect the adidas Originals By White Mountaineering Fall/Winter 2016 collection to hit select retailers sometime in August.
