Bentley’s Continental GT Speed has a real force to be reckoned with, as its iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine have helped it reach a top speed of 206 mph. For a grand tourer like the Speed, that’s beyond impressive. Well, the latest iteration of the GT Speed brings along more power and torque, while introducing a Black Edition model to join the Speed stable as well. The engine delivers 633 horses alongside 619 pound-feet of torque, allowing it to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, a tenth faster than its predecessor.
The GT Speed Black Edition takes all this performance and blends it with all-black design cues that give it an even more aggressive look and character. It’ll come in both coupe and convertible, in the customers’ choice of body color while featuring black details on the exterior brightware and being fitted with all-black 21-inch five-spoke wheels. Look for contrasting details on the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser in four different shades: Hallmark, Beluga, St James’ Red, as well as Cyber Yellow. Color-matching the door mirrors is also an option offered to buyers.
The interior’s filled with dark detailing throughout. You’ll see carbon fibre on the fascia, centre and roof consoles while the seats and centre console are bordered by contrasting leather, available in Porpoise, Beluga, Pillar Box Red or new Cyber Yellow to match the exterior styling accents. There’s contrast stitching on the diamond quilting of the doors and Mulliner GT Design seats as well.
The new Bentley Continental GT Speed and GT Speed Black Edition are available for order now with deliveries to begin this summer.
