Last night was a big night for our friends at Analogshift. They celebrated their fourth anniversary at NYC’s Up&Down, announced Geoffrey Hess as their new CEO and even had Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani in attendance. Mr. Giuliani even donated a watch that was gifted to him by the Analogshift team. That watch is a vintage Wittnauer Electro-Chron timepiece that was originally presented by the New York Yankees to then-retired shortstop Dick Bartell during the 1962 All-Timers game. It’s a wondrous piece with its Landeron 4750 Electric movement and stainless steel casing. It shows light signs of wear as you’d expect and features insignia of the New York Yankees right on the original dial. It features a signed crown and original stamped case back that bears engraving “Old-Timers Day, 1-28-62. Dick Bartell.”

This watch, in partnership with Mr. Giuliani, is being offered up for auction by Analogshift with all the proceeds going to support the Horological Society of New York. Head on over to Analogshift to learn more and place your bid ahead of the May 20th ending.
