A.P.C. x Louis W. FW16 Inspired By French Riot

A.P.C. x Louis W. FW16

Under the creative direction of designer Louis Wong, the quintessential Parisian brand A.P.C. has unveiled a new FW16 capsule collection that draws inspiration from the May 1968 French riots, a demonstration against capitalism by students and workers across the country. The line, appropriately named Soixante Huit (or Sixty Eight), is dominated by a workwear aesthetic featuring shearlings and vintage jackets that capture the time period of youthful and rebellious protesters. An off-white jumpsuit acts as the blank canvas for many of the collection’s striking outerwear pieces, which include classic bombardiers, aviators, bombers and parkas in a retro color palette with knitwear also added into the mix. Check out the styles in the gallery above or go ahead and purchase them here.
