Robert Geller released his Fall/Winter 2017 collection onto the NYFW Men’s runway last week while marking his 10-year anniversary in the process. Pre-show, white banners projected different looks from the New York designer’s storied history, giving us a walk down memory lane and leaving us a bit excited for the Fall 2017 show that was getting set to kick off. Signature looks were re-styled in a new shoot and paired with G-SHOCK G-STEEL watches that were handpicked by Geller himself. These watches also made their way on to the runway show, pairing effortlessly with Robert Geller’s Fall 2017 collection.

The designer’s latest offerings feature a military vibe with the collection entitled, “Love and War”. Militarization as well as protest and revolt both play a crucial role here, giving us self-expression and an elevated wardrobe for the modern peaceful resistance. We see clean tailoring in the vests and coats that are finished in brushed wools and topped off with historic military embroideries. A garment dyed deep red nylon bomber jacket wins here while plenty of camo pieces stood out as well. A double breasted waxed cotton coat features grey and purple camouflage print, while also coming in an olive green version. The camo boucle cashmere sweaters were just beautiful and were often paired with everything you might need to battle the harsh winters — hot pink and yellow neoprene face masks, scuba hoods, and gloves.

The looks were topped off with other must-have pieces, including a Common Project collaboration that includes a “combat sneaker” in black, brown, and burgundy alongside a trekking shoe in charcoal and navy.

Check out all the looks in the gallery above and look for the pieces to hit select stockists in the early fall. G-SHOCK’s G-STEEL line can be found now through gshock.com, the G-SHOCK Soho Store, Tourneau and other select shops.
