Han Kjøbenhavn Fall/Winter 2017 Collection Explores Relationship Between Man and Nature

Han Kjøbenhavn’s introduced their Fall 2017 collection, “Men with Dogs Killing Rats”, with the season’s offerings pulling inspiration from childhood stories and folklore of the brand’s co-founders, as well as the relationship between man and nature. There are three archetypes here: the man, represented in the tweed and plaid pieces; the dog, represented in the custom jacquard prints; and the rat, seen within the collection’s ornate embroidery and floral knits. The end result gives us an expansive offering from the Danish brand that rests on icon Han items like loose-fitting tracksuits, denim jackets, puffer coats and unconventional suiting, which integrates a new approach to tailoring. A dog-print jacquard coat and a floral bomber jacket also capture our attention here. Traditional materials like denim, velour, tweed, and faux fur are seen in rich, earthy tones of burnt orange, rust, mustard, and royal blue.

Check out the pieces in the gallery above and look for the Han Kjøbenhavn’s Fall 2017 collection to hit select retailers in the early fall.
