The Kooples and Artist Richard Orlinski Are Launching A Limited Capsule Collection

Paris-based The Kooples have teamed up with Richard Orlinski, one of France’s most notable contemporary artists, to create a limited capsule collection inspired by the rebellious spirit of street art. Each of the 16 pieces were designed by Richard Orlinski in collaboration with the Elicha brothers, and range from leather jackets and button downs to sweaters, tees, hoodies, and jeans. Multicolored graffiti you might have seen on Orlinski’s roaring panthers, crocodiles, and other “Wild Kongs” sculptures are showcased here as well, while some of his famous catchphrases like “Born Wild,” “Love,” “Free,” and “Too Young to Die” deliver a 90s flare to the lineup’s biker jackets, tees, and sweats.

Look for costume jewelry and high-top sneakers to be a part of this collection as well. And to celebrate the collaboration, The Kooples and Orlinski have gone ahead and reinvented the skull head in an eccentric way, covering it in colors and graffiti to express part of Orlinski’s aesthetic. Look for the large-scale sculpture to be on display in select The Kooples shops around the world.
