Lamborghini Huracán Performante Spyder Gets Lands In New York

With yesterday being the first day of the New York International Auto Show, there have been a ton of great stories. But one of the more exciting things happened offsite as the Lamborghini Huracán Peformante Spyder made its North American debut. It’s everything we’ve loved about the Performante with an open-air experience that doesn’t compromise on design or performance. The lightweight, electrohydraulic roof opens in just 17 seconds and can be done at up to speeds of 30 mph. The aero detailing on the Performante Spyder are as aggressive and deliberate as they are on the coupé. When you take out the roof and leverage Lamborghini’s exclusive Forged Composite, we get a drop-top supercar that’s lighter than its Spyder sister, and helps its driver take full advantage of the naturally aspirated V10 engine and the 640 horsepower that come with it. The end result is a tremendous race to 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. Couple that with an enhanced suspension system, recalibrated ESC, and more responsive Lamborghini Dynamic Steering and you’ve got a supercar that can dominate on your local back roads or on the track.
