GQ’s December Men of the Year issue honors the most incredible, most awe-inspiring, highest achieving men of 2013. Two of the year’s top performers, Justin Timberlake(“#Hashtag of the Year”) and Kendrick Lamar(“Rapper of the Year”), along with two of Hollywood’s biggest superstars, Matthew McConaughey (“Leading Man of the Year”) and Will Ferrell (“Funnyman of the Year”), each are featured on the eighteenth annual edition of the issue. Honored on a fifth cover is the late James Gandolfini, whose passing shocked the world this summer.

Public School Wins 2013 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Top Honors

We’re excited to be congratulating Public School designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne on winning the 2013 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund. Public School was one of ten finalists nominated for the award and the first nomination and win for the New York label.

“We are truly honored and humbled by the support and recognition from Vogue and the CFDA. We are extremely grateful for this amazing opportunity,” says Chow. Adds Osborne, “To be included in the same company as this talented group of designers is an honor itself. We are amazed and thankful for this recognition.”

Chow and Osborne have quickly amassed a reputation for taking classic silhouettes and updating them through a modern lens by mixing high and low references from fashion, music and art into their work. Public School’s collection is sold at luxury boutiques and retailers around the world, including Barneys New York, Guild, Odin New York and several others.
