Filippa K: Knitted Collar Melton Coat

The Filippa K philosophy is based on style, simplicity, and quality.  The Knitted Collar Melton Coat defines style while being very simple.  The thick ribbed knitted fold-down collar makes this coat an eye catcher.  The wool coat has a covered button up placket. There are three front exterior pockets and two interior pockets.  The shell’s 80% wool, 20% polyamid and the lining’s 100% viscose.

J. Crew’s Men Shop: King Street reversible trench

Classic by day, cool by night—this reversible trench offers two impeccable looks in one.  The King Street is flawless from the hidden button-tabs at the collar to the covert button closure.  You can sport the belt or take it off (we recommend you keep it).  The outer shell’s made of wool and polyester, so it’ll get the job done this winter.

You’ll find it exclusively at J. Crew.  More shots after the jump.

Fall/Holiday 2008: Gytha Mander Bowtie in Purple

Gytha Mander was founded in 2004, so the brand’s truly in its adolescent stages.  You wouldn’t think it though with the classic ready-to-wear apparel distinguished by contemporary accents and elegant details.  This bowtie in purple is no different.  It’s made of 100 percent silk, so don’t go putting it in the washer.

This winter, we recommend getting the right bowtie for that special occassion.  Not ready for the bowtie?  Don’t worry, we’ll be letting you know which ties you must have.

Holiday 2008 is a homecoming for Gytha Mander—a return to the label’s playful roots. Look for bigger, riskier, more colorful patterns and pairings, plus daring contrasts, splashes of 60s panache, and plenty of verve. The theme of the collection: childhood fears and fantasies.
