Feit | X-Ray Sole Hiker Boot

Feit | X-Ray Sole Hiker Boot

There’s nothing we enjoy more than turning you all to new, fairly under the radar brands that are trending in the right direction, and we feel Feit falls into this bucket. Though only a few years young, the brand’s been doing some great things as of late, and this falls squarely on the shoulders of Tull Price, the man who founded the company back in 2005. Price looks to deliver product that’s made from high quality materials such as Horween leather. The true differentiator is this — they work directly with the factory to eliminate the middle man and save costs which the consumer would end up having to pay. It’s a direct, made to order business.

NYFW | Band of Outsiders Fall/Winter 2011 Runway Video

Though we’re well past this season’s New York Fashion Week, we were revisiting some of the shows and felt compelled to present the video from the Band of Outsiders Fall 2011 show. It was pretty intense but we’re not trying to give of it away. As for the pieces on display, they were nothing short of spectacular. I personally think though that they were trying to reach into quadrants they aren’t necessarily known for and that may make or break them when it all goes down next winter.

The fabric and detailing is phenomenal while the craftsmanship is unmatched.

Velour Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Velour Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Sweden’s Velour dug into its roots to shoot their Fall 2011 lookbook. The lookbook is photographed in what 50 years ago was the actual store. The interior hasn’t been changed a bit since the time it was up and running. As for the offerings, next winter’s lineup features much of what the label does best. You’ll see their chinos in new colors and with a new vintage treatment while their shirting will come in new colorways with much emphasis on the eco-friendly cotton fabric. Chambray, cord and poplin are also being utilized in the shirting while you can also look for woolen jackets as well as a new chino.

There’s definitely much to anticipate beyond this when Velour begins to hit stockists worldwide in the coming months.

The Japanese label’s known for its well-crafted denim and there’s no shortage in this collection. The pieces are faded to perfection but that’s something we’ve come to expect from them, amiright?
