Buttero x Por Vocacao Derby Shoes

Buttero x Por Vocacao Derby Shoes

We recently featured Buttero when the folks at Por Vocacao took a trip out to the Italian brand’s factory in Tuscany. Now, we’ve gotten word of the two collaborating for the first time on a special pair of derby shoes. They’re handcrafted in Italy from finely selected, vegetable tanned horse leathers and are available in three colorways; taupe, dark brown and black, with the last two featuring a striking greased finish on the suede uppers. Sewn leather outsoles with protective anti-slip rubber and leather insoles reading “Buttero for Por Vocação” complete this exclusive shoe. With a limited production, these shoes will only be available through our physical and online shop.

Burberry Prorsum Leather Tote Bag

Burberry Prorsum Leather Tote Bag

From Burberry’s Prorsum collection for F/W comes this Italian-made orange leather tote bag. The design is a modern take on a classic tote as it features two handles, two internal patch pockets as well as one internal zipped pocket. There’s plenty of space for your day-to-day goods like laptop, camera, books and maybe even a few outfits if you’re running away for the weekend. The metal feet keep this rich leather off the ground while the subtle black trimming throughout the bag really give the bag some added detail.

GANT Rugger x NOVH Fall/Winter 2011 Holiday Collection Lookbook

To showcase their Holiday 2011 collection, GANT Rugger commissioned Noah Emrich of NOVH fame to shoot the lookbook. He brought on some of his close friends to sport the looks including photographer Justin Chung (you might remember him from The All-American Shoot), Nico Lazaro of The Bengal Stripe, Sean Hotchkiss of The GQ Eye and PH friend William Yan. Two ladies also got into the mix — Nicole Loher (above) and Julia Jacobson. Some of our favorite pieces include the salt and pepper crew neck sweater Nicole’s wearing as well as the Country Twill and Herringbone blazer, Tinkering Twill button down and Puffer Waistcoat.

The lookbook is featured below, while the product is available for consumption now at GANT Rugger.

Pendleton x Best Made Co. Famous Red Blanket

Pendleton x Best Made Co. Famous Red Blanket

From Best Made Company comes their Famous Red Blanket made from Pendleton wool. “Our search for the perfect red wool blanket began out of necessity, and ended with the design and fabrication of our very own. Woven into the lower corner of our two-tone red blanket is the Best Made adjective (famous), which is framed with the four stripes that represent our C.C.G.F. mantra, and there are even subtle hash marks to guide a precision fold. The dead center of the blanket is emblazoned with our signature X, which marks the spot.” It looks phenomenal and is fitted with plenty of details while the fabric is nothing short of exceptional. R.Newbold Fall/Winter 2011 Collection Lookbook

Here we have a look at R.Newbold and their Fall/Winter 2011 offerings. The Japanese label looks to have a solid lineup, with some amazing outerwear pieces in the mix to really drive the collection. For Fall 2011, they’ve even collaborated with Barbour to really take things next level. They’ve reworked the M-51 parka jacket and given it a raised hood placket and leather detailings. One piece from the Barbour collaboration that really stands out is the shorter jacket which features subtle polka dot patchwork print. The duffle coat seen below is exceptional as it’s got all the makings of a classic with a blue stripe towards the bottom to stir things up. (via The189)

ISAORA x Porter Canoe Pack

ISAORA x Porter Canoe Pack

Here we have a look at a special collaboration between Isaora and Porter. This canoe pack is made in Japan by legendary bag maker Yoshida & Co., and inspired by the ‘Poirer Pack’, a bag that was designed in the late 1800s by French-Canadian Camille Poirer. The bag’s designed all the elements of traveling outdoors like a thick canvas shell and flat square shape to keep things stable. This Canoe Pack features plenty of modern elements such as its engineered shape, internal iPad pouch, black felt padding, 2 side pockets, and zigzag stitching.

What makes it even more special is that $200 from each bag sold will go to the Japanese Red Cross to help with ongoing efforts relating to the devastating tsunami that hit the country.
