Milan Fashion Week | Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring/Summer 2012

Milan Fashion Week | Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring/Summer 2012

Moncler’s Gamme Bleu line was showcased at this week’s Milan Fashion Week with plenty of signature offerings on display. Beyond the usual thigh high shorts and tailored suiting, the runway show featured fencing jackets and enhanced jock cups as well to really take things to heights. Thom Browne is doing an exceptional job with this label and he infused more of his American flavor in this lineup than we’ve seen in seasons past and it’s apparent with the addition of a few padded jackets and quilted blazers.

NYFW | Moncler Grenoble Fall/Winter 2011 Presentation

New York City’s Grand Central Station played host to Moncler Grenoble’s Fall 2011 presentation during New York Fashion Week. “A large flash mob dance party was organized, with all participants wearing the new Moncler Grenoble Collection. Travelers walked by, stopped, took pictures and participated.” We were equally impressed by the offerings which varied in fabric and color. When was the last time Moncler disappointed, anyone remember because we surely don’t. (via Selectism)

Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall 2010 [Milan Fashion Week]

Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall 2010 [Milan Fashion Week]

Moncler Gamme Bleu is a favorite for some of us here and with good reason. When you mix a European skiwear company with a former designer of the year that’s known for his well-fitting suits, you seldom go wrong. In this collection Thom Browne’s passion for fit is apparent. Pieces from Moncler Gamme Bleu’s Fall 2010 collection like the performance-styled anoraks, down-filled blazers, and quilted wool pants, will not only fit you as well as your suits do, but they will also be flexible, giving you the best of both worlds.
