Monitaly Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Monitaly Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

As we gear up for the winter months ahead, we’re pulling out a few Fall 2011 lookbooks to give you some inspiration and deliver shots of what will be available in the weeks ahead. Monitaly’s one of our favorite menswear labels right now and their upcoming collection is phenomenal, especially in the outerwear segment. The coats are well-made with several wearable styles up for grabs. Be sure to check out the rest of the lookbook below.

We’ve covered Monitaly’s S/S 2011 collection in the past but couldn’t resist putting up these images from the label’s lookbook for the current season. We think they’re doing some of the best work in the industry as they’re really able to juggle craftsmanship, design and wearability all at the same time. There’s much to be had from Monitaly’s spring and summer offerings. Though some product’s more formal than others, all-in-all the collection’s filled with gear that’s well made and versatile as well.

New York-based C.H.C.M. has taken stock of some fine goods from Monitaly’s Spring 2011 collection. Included in the mix are two colourways of the brand’s hooded Field Jacket as well as a few versions of their Triple Needle shirts, our favorite being the blue chambray finish. All product is sourced and made in the United States and is crafted with much attention to detail.

The Want | Monitaly Chambray Vest

From Meg Company & Monitaly comes this chambray vest for the fall. Sure, we’ve seen a handful of vests for this season already, but none in this finish. It’s lined with Primeloft and fitted with leather backed press stud closure on front. It’s got nylon ripstop lining as well as a shaped hem for some added character.

Monitaly Riders Coat [Fall 2010]

Monitaly Riders Coat [Fall 2010]

Last fall saw the release of Monitaly’s first riders coat, a pea coat in a red/green plaid combo. This fall’s delivering the same beauty in a brown striped wool finish. Yuki Matsuda is doing an amazing job with Monitaly and this flagship piece tells the entire story.

Monitaly Parka Jacket

Monitaly Parka Jacket

All talk of how cold it is aside, Yuki Matsada’s Monitaly has cooked up this parka for the current season. Monitaly is “a merger of Mr. Matsuda’s three loves – his daughter, military inspired goods, and Italy (via selectism).” It’s durable, comfortable and ready for anything Mother Nature has to throw at you. We’re quite intrigued by the color, it pops but screams American workwear.
