Milan Fashion Week | Versace Fall/Winter 2011

Versace‘s Fall 2011 collection looked great on the runway at Paris. The show reminds us what makes Donatella’s work so appreciated in the industry. The fall line is really well curated as it’s filled with plenty of suiting, each piece as precisely cut as the one before it. We’re seeing a lot of labels honing in on a color two and utilizing that finish in just about every piece they dish out and though most of Versace’s fall collection is fairly neutral, we dig the color infusion via accessories such as neckwear and gloves.

Paris Fashion Week: Thom Browne Spring/Summer 2011

There’s much to see enjoy when viewing Thom Browne‘s S/S 2011 collection. The creative mind has hit an all-time high as he looks to deliver sports jackets in an array of fabrics including seersucker and cotton madras, which happens to be the shirt fabric of choice at the present moment. The American designer stays close to his Americana values with saddle shoes and aviator shades and plenty of red, white and blue evenly spread throughout the collection.

Paris Fashion Week: Comme des Garcons Spring/Summer 2011

For S/S 2011, skull-print coats and pants are coupled with slim-cut blazers, providing plenty of black and white ensembles from Comme des Garcons. Combat boots are looking good with the cropped pants, but there’s plenty more to appreciate from the Japanese label. If you’re not digging the skulls, worry not as there are plenty of well-cut suits and shirts without the extras.

Adam Kimmel Fall 2010 [Paris Fashion Week]

Adam Kimmel Fall 2010 [Paris Fashion Week]

Paris Fashion Week is underway and while we may be a day or two late with the updates, rest assured our favorite collections are timeless to say the least. We initially didn’t know what to expect from Adam Kimmel‘s Fall 2010 collection, as the New York-based designer has been known to change directions from time to time. The approach Kimmel took to display the line was interesting in itself as each model sports a mask we weren’t expecting to see until October. In the collection, expect well-fitted denims, fine knits, and a great lineup of suits.
