Here we have looks at Adam Kimmel’s collaboration with American workwear brand Carhartt. Kimmel looks to shed some light on Carhartt’s signature heritage pieces by infusing them with high quality fabrics and a more modern look and feel. These pieces are as durable as you’d expect any Carhartt product to be but the wearability factor so much higher, folks. Look for plenty of product in this lineup including jackets, hooded sweatshirts, tees and accessories.

From Parisian label Kitsune comes an exceptionally well-designed collection for Fall 2011 entitled, “Brokeback Mountain”. Though we initially weren’t sure what the folks had in mind when choosing this title, checking out the offerings shows it definitely takes some inspiration from the movie among other things. “The collection itself beyond the inspiration and title could be construed as that of a “refined urban cowboy,” with some definitive workwear pieces you’d find on a ranch in addition to well-tailored pieces suitable for the city.” (via HB)

Parisian label Noir Basic drops their reinterpretation of a classic 1930s Engineer jacket crafted by legendary French workwear factory Mont Saint-Michel. This one’s made from double weaved Okayama white and khaki denim and lined with dark brown synthetic fur. The jacket’s cut slim and features brown lambskin edging and vintage French naval buttons.
