For a car that’s worth only $230,000 brand new, why would anyone want to pay $120,000 more for it after it plunged into a lake in northern Italy? We’ll never know, but one “lucky” fan bought the Aston Martin DBS that was used in Quantum of Solace for $350,000 after it’s been hit with flood damage and a given a genuine “top-down” treatment (see pic above).
There were six of these used in this year’s Bond movie, and we’re pretty sure none of them made it back to Aston Martin in one piece.
