HTC Max 4G: World’s First GSM/WiMAX cellphone

Last night, Russia blessed us with Ivan Demidov, this year’s WSOP runner-up.  Today, we might have to head to Russia to pay him a visit.  HTC just announced the Max 4G, the world’s first integrated GSM/WiMAX cellphone.  Imagine browsing the web at speeds of 70Mb/sec anywhere in the WiMAX network.

So why are we going to Russia?  Well, the Yota WiMAX network is located there and it’s the only place the phone’s going to prove useful as of right now.

Check the full specs after the jump.
