TriBeCa’s Smyth hotel just opened up and timing couldn’t be worse better. Part of Thompson Hotels, Smyth offers 100 guestrooms in a newly-constructed building on West Broadway and Chambers Street. The lobby was designed by Yabu Pushelberg and staff uniforms were created by Helmut Lang. Rooms are flooded with a luxe atmosphere from their walnut paneling to robes by Frette and linens by Sferra.
Restaurateur Frederick Lesort masterminded the Lobby Bar and Smyth also has 24-hour room service, so you’re never short on options for eating. Rates start at $275 for a standard room, $575 for a king suite, and $3,500 for the penthouse.
