Now Live: Aim and Beejive IM iPhone Apps with Push Notifications

Two new versions (one free and one for $2.99) of the AIM iPhone app are live as we speak, finally bringing along push notifications. For anyone not aware, this means that now when the app is closed, it will display notifications showing you how many outstanding messags you have, while keeping you connected to the AIM service even when its not actively in use. Some people are also reporting Beejive IM, the one that’s $15.99 but much more versatile and refined, to be live as well (also boasting push notifications).
