(capsule) Paris Tradeshow: Spring/Summer 2011

Today marks the beginning of the invasion of Paris by (capsule). Some of today’s best progressive and neo-contemporary men’s brands will be on display all weekend at the tradeshow’s new home in the Marais, Garage Turenne. As this is the seventh season the show’s been on, the brand list has expanded to 95 top-notch men’s designers. (capsule) is also playing host to a photo exhibition from renowned lensman Kenneth Cappello celebrating Stussy’s 30th anniversary. The list ranges from independents looking to make a mark, to mass brands looking for a piece of the hot progressive market via high-end collections and collaborations.

New York-based Steven Alan has some special pieces for Spring/Summer 2011 as does Danish favorite Norse Projects, heritage brand Charleston Khaki, and England’s Heritage Research. Stylists, buyers and media folks the world over are on hand to see what these guys and many others have in store and we’ll be sure to keep you posted as any shots from the show come our way.
