Fall 2010 brings an old school label back to life in a light many never envisioned it. Boast, the celebrated East Coast racquet sports brand, was once reserved for club members and available only at pro shops. This time around, look for their classic pieces to be available at select stores as well as online at BoastUSA.com, which will undoubtedly help them to reach a wider audience.
The resurgence was started by two longtime fans of Boast — John Dowling and Alexander Tiger — and is backed by the duo behind Partners & Spade — Andy Spade and Anthony Sperduti. The brand’s super soft and durable pique polo is back and will be offered in a range of colors in a classic fit. Boast’s iconic Japanese Maple leaf logo will adorn each item from the lineup so don’t be surprised if some older heads stop you as they take a moment to reminisce about the good ol’ days.
