JBL continues to advance their wireless speaker technology with the announcement of a new JBL Authentics Series wireless speaker system, the L16. It supports AirPlay, DLNA and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling audio to be streamed from any wireless device but takes things further by being the first speaker to boast HARMAN Signal Doctor. This technology restores the details lost in today’s compressed music files, adding detail and energy to even low quality MP3 files from your mobile device. You can also opt for classic analog and digital outputs and there’s even a phono preamp stage for connecting turntables without the need for an outboard amp.
JBL products are known to not only deliver beyond-impressive audio quality, but be beautifully designed as well and that’s no different here with the L16. The shell features a timeless design with walnut-veneered housing and retro grill treatment that will dish out three-way audio and complement a wide range of interior décor in the process.
Mate the speaker with the free JBL Music app and you’ll have full control over the speaker through both iOS and Android mobile devices. The JBL Authentics Speaker is available now for pre-order.
