Earlier this week, En Noir showcased one of the their most comprehensive collections to date. This marks the first time Rob Garcia and team have presented their offerings via a runway show and the backdrop for the occasion was as impeccable as the pieces themselves. The show was hosted at New York City’s Park Ave Armory in the venue’s 300×200 feet Drill Hall and they got some help on the set design from Snarkitecture.
The monochromatic lineup had a strong military influence with plenty of leather detailing. The Fall/Winter 2014 collection features simple lines while the silhouettes get new depth with the use of rich fabrics like water snake, pony hair, and hand-distressed leather. Select fabric treatments were carefully constructed through a process of distressing and coating to create incredible texture. The range is diverse with a good mix of mid-layer and outerwear. Look for standouts like leather jackets, vests, long trenches and much more.
Look for En Noir to drop the goods in late summer / early fall via online and select retailers.
