More news coming from Basel and this time it’s from Omega. They’ve unveiled a limited edition Speedmaster to mark Apollo 11’s 45 anniversary. The OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Apollo 11
45th Anniversary Limited Edition wristwatch commemorates the first lunar landing and celebrates its link to the iconic chronograph that was part of the adventure. Details are a plenty as the watch features a black PVD dial with laser-engraved designed elements on the face by removing the material surrounding the name, sub-dial numerals and hour markers. It’s further enhanced with 18K Omega Sedna gold hands and indexes alongside a matching bezel. Inside is the calibre 1861, a manual-winding chronograph movement. The Omega Speedmaster Professional Apollo 11 45th Anniversary Limited Edition is fitted with a brown coated nylon NATO strap. Only 1,969 pieces will be made and made available through select boutiques worldwide.
