Parisian label Berluti has been crafting bespoke sporting footwear since the 1920s and now they’re celebrating their longstanding heritage with a collaboration with another French brand, Cycles Victoire. The two have teamed up for a porteur style inspired bicycle that was handcrafted in the Cycles Victoire workshop in Clermont-Ferrand, France. The end result is both authentic and modern, with a frame made from fillet-brazed steel and a black varnish finish. The fork and the luggage-rack are custom made with other alloy partsare utilized here, like the Victoire S-42 stem. Fine details continue with a handcrafted wheelset made with Victoire HFT hubs, made in France from solid alloy round, laced on Ghisallo wooden rims. Berluti has also offered up some accessories that will be exclusive to this collaboration, including a frame clutch bag, a sling basket and toe straps. There’s also a special pair of Vitello Amazon leather cycling shoes in “Tobacco Bis” and “Nero Blu” colorways.
The bicycle is now available for order through Cycles Victoire while the full range will be available via special order through Berluti boutiques in Paris, New York, London, and Tokyo.
