With the McLaren 650S now making its way to showrooms, the automaker is commissioning their in-house personalization division, McLaren Special Operations, to deliver some enhancements for the new supercar. As shown in the MSO 650S Coupe Concept, current and future owners of the 650S will be offered new styling options that deliver optimized aerodynamic performance and more dramatic appearance. The options will be available for the McLaren 650S Coupe and 650S Spider while some can also be fitted to the previous 12C models. The Concept features stealth-like look with subtle upgrades, including the Agrigan Black finish that’s been developed in-house with a deep ruby red metallic flake. There are satin-finished carbon fiber highlights throughout the supercar, including the front splitter and air intakes as well as bespoke MSO carbon fiber side blades and the MSO rear diffuser. The GT3-inspired rear bumper features a carbon fiber center section, while the aggressive look is completed with beautiful satin black finished 650S alloy wheels that are wrapped in Pirelli’s. Inside the cockpit, the concept is fitted with fixed-back carbon fiber racing seats, based on the lightweight design found in the McLaren P1, finished in carbon black leather. Satin carbon fiber can be seen throughout the cabin and further enhanced by the switchgear and bezels that are finished in contrasting gloss black.

The McLaren MSO 650S Coupe Concept is starting a tour in China while many of the components are available to order from the McLaren Special Operations catalog.
