Nike Soccer has taken the cover off their Away kits for men’s and women’s US National teams. The new jersey has a modern crew-neck collar and features three bands representing the colors of the American flag. With red as the base color, the jersey is also infused with a bold blue tone around the upper torso and top sleeves while a white chest band extends over the middle of both sleeves. The patriotic look of the jersey is furthered by a pennant tab inside the back of the neck that thirteen red and white stripes to represent the original thirteen US colonies. The red shorts are slimmer and more tailored to the body, with a cut specifically designed to deliver more movement and comfort. The center back of the shorts feature Nike’s signature laser vents to aid in cooling and allow for moisture management.
