Sony’s The Equalizer gets its first official trailer. Due out later this year, the action thriller stars Denzel Washington as a former black ops commando who faked his own death for a quiet life in Boston. He then comes out of retirement to rescue a young girl and finds himself face to face with Russian gangsters. It’s directed by Antoine Fuqua and loosely based on Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim’s 1980s CBS show of the same name. The Equalizer will hit theaters on September 26th.
